We were all sitting around in gym class again listening to the theory of badminton or ping pong or something when I finally had enough. I remember telling my friends my plan while we were in the change room before class and it seemed like such a great idea. We were going to disrupt his talk by making a big scene - which for some reason I thought would end up with us getting onto the activity sooner.
About five minutes into the teachers talk my friend threw a badminton birdie at me. I yelled so loud as if it caused extreme pain, put my hands to my face and ran out of the gym pretending to cry.
Unfortunately most of the class didn't see me get hit with the birdie, so they just thought I ran out for no reason. One guy turned to someone and asked if I had just gotten my period.
I got into the change room and was laughing so hard - apparently I thought I was funny for pretending to be oversensitive and hurt by a birdie. A couple of my friends ran in after me to "see if I was ok" and we all chuckled together.
What I didn't expect was for one of the female teachers to be walking by the gym during my disruption, so she came into the change room super concerned about what happened. I tried to turn my laughter into tears and make up a story of my friend being mean and throwing a birdie at me, and the teacher acted as if it was actually a serious issue. Then when she left the change room she made a comment to one of the girls in the class about how "sensitive" I was.
Needless to say I really didn't teach the gym teacher a lesson, but more so just made myself look stupid. But I went back out and joined gym class when his talking was done - so I guess the disruption still served the purpose of getting me out of sitting and listening.
